Krown Rust Control Hamilton FAQ – part 3

Seems customers have many great questions relative to Krown Rust Control. There are many different types of after-market rust inhibitor products. Some are more effective than others; some cost more, some cost less. By being an informed consumer, you will make the best decision for your vehicle.

Why are holes drilled – and will these holes rust?

Certain areas of a vehicle can only be accessed by drilling or cutting small holes. Each of these openings is treated with a special compound; even if the vehicle is never sprayed again, these areas will not rust. After the application is sprayed in, each hole is plugged with a grommet to provide a clean, neat finish.

How does Krown compare to competitive products?

In laboratory tests, Krown has outperformed all competitors. Copies of test results are available at any Krown location.

What makes Krown different from other “rust protection” products?

Many companies use coating products that are designed to cover over areas that are susceptible to rust. These types of coatings can be “breached” by abrasion or chipping. When this happens, moisture can enter in under the coating and become trapped against the vehicle surface. The coating will actually accelerate corrosion rather than prevent it.

Krown by comparison is “self-healing” and is constantly and invasively creeping, remaining active to continuously repel moisture and keep it away from the metal surface. Unlike coating-type products, Krown penetrates into even the tightest seams and spot welds delivering a much more effective and comprehensive protection. A final, added benefit? Krown lubricates many moving parts on a vehicle such as door locks, brake cables, power antennas, etc. Coating products cannot do this.

Developed for harsh climates and heavy wear and tear, the Krown product provides exceptional protection and lubrication on all kinds of vehicles, machinery, electrical connections and even all metal parts.
